Microblade and Nano brows are a tattoo of the eyebrow. I create hairlike strokes to help create a more full, even and defined brow. This is completely customized to every person, face shape, natural brow hairs and their brow goals. I want you to feel confident and beautiful and not worry about your eyebrows. Waking up with defined brows definitely make the mornings easier!
The Consult: We can meet for a 15 minute consultation to go over any questions and make sure we’re set up for success for your first microblade appointment. We can also chat via text if you feel comfortable skipping the in person consult.
1st Appointment: I spend a lot of time creating your outline of the brow in this appointment especially. I make sure you and I love the outline before we begin. Then we will apply a topical numbing cream and let that sit on for 25 minutes to make the service as comfortable as possible. Total appointment time is 2.5 hours.
2nd Appointment: This appointment is 4-12 weeks after your first microblade appointment. It is common to have significant fading after the first appointment. I will touch up any fading and also have the opportunity to make any changes (ie: darker, thicker, add shading)
Annual Appointments: Most people go about 11-12 months between their microblade appointments after their second appointment. The annual refresh is only one appointment. We go over fading and make any changes.
Healing: Your new eyebrows will go through several phases during the healing process. The pigment will appear sharp and dark immediately following the procedure. The pigment is sitting on top of the skin and has not settled yet. The color will soften gradually. Do not be alarmed if you see pigment as you cleanse or apply aftercare. This is normal. Once the healing begins, you will experience drying and flaking. This is the color and skin being naturally exfoliated. Once all peeling and flaking is done you may resume your normal routine, however you should continue to use gentle products on your brows.
Aftercare: One hour following the microblading procedure, wipe your brows with a clean, damp paper towel and apply a very thin layer of a light, neutral lotion. I recommend a light, hydrating lotion. Before bed tonight, please gently wash your brows using a light, neutral soap. I recommend a creme cleanser. Total wet time should be 60 seconds per day. Blot with a clean paper towel, then apply lotion twice daily for 7-10 days to prevent scabs from forming. You may also apply lotion throughout the day if they are feeling dry or itchy. If scabbing does occur, refrain from picking.
Things to avoid 7-10 days post microblade:
•No sweating
•No swimming, suntanning, sauna, bath or jacuzzi
•No laser or chemical treatments
•No picking, peeling, scrubbing or scratching micro blade area
•No driving in open air vehicles
•No direct contact with water on your brows while showering
•No makeup on the brows while they are healing
If you are pregnant, nursing, diabetic, undergoing chemotherapy, suffering with viral infections, have had recent Botox injections or chemical peels (within 3 weeks), completed an acutance treatments within 6 months, unfortunately microblading is not for you.
